Efflux is part of Steven Lutz’s series of hyper-abstract florals. This surrealistic floral artwork is a unique juxtaposition of hyperrealistic flowers flowing into a watercolor style. This blend of realism and abstraction adds an expressive flair and results in a unique richness of layers filled with detail and abstract expression, creating a sense of depth.
From the artist: To produce unique works of art, I meticulously take hundreds of photos and combine the images in digital collages that are incredibly lifelike. From the initial conceptual sketches to the finished artwork, a work can take up to 100 hours to complete.
