“Lunaphasic” is a striking piece from Steven Lutz’s series of hyperrealistic-abstract floral and nature artworks. It uniquely blends photography with elements of abstract composition, specifically merging images of the moon in its various phases with an expressive floral vortex that seems to phase in and out of view. The composition features a dynamic, asymmetrically balanced mosaic of swirling flowers that emphasize the moon’s circular form, creating a distinctive expression of natural beauty.
From the artist: To produce unique works of art, I meticulously take hundreds of photos and combine the images in digital collages that are incredibly lifelike. From the initial conceptual sketches to the finished artwork, a work can take up to 100 hours to complete.
